How to force restart your iPhone if the screen freeze!

While the screen freeze is not so common in apple devices but nothing in this world is perfect, not even apple. Yes, you read that right! Every day after another, technology is getting better and better, while tech giants like Google, Microsoft, Apple and others are busy updating their devices but human brains cannot perfect every single bug that can cause any code or script to damage its performance as expected.

We all know screen freezes are common in android devices and it's only because android devices are known for its user-friendly operations and customization where iOS in Apple devices are known for its security and world-class standards.


Now, what you can do if any bug in the iOS causes screen freeze and you cannot even restart your phone? Well, here are the steps you can follow to get rid out of this frustrating situation. Please note that this article is for the Apple device users using Apple X or later series (non-home buttoned) devices.


Step 1: Press Volume Up button

Step 2: Press Volume Down button

Step 3: Press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds

You will see a Shutdown screen while pressing the power button, but you need not do anything just keep pressing the power button till you see Apple logo appears on your screen and Voila! you just forced restart your iPhone!

This process is safe as force restart only restarts your phone in an emergency and doesn't erase any of your data stored on your iPhone.
